ARLENE LINTON IS COMING TO HARBOURSIDE!!
November 20 & 21, 2010
The Arlene Linton seminar promises lots of stroke work and brush control knowledge making it a wonderful learning experience for all. The two projects that we will be doing are the “Forget Me Knots” and Arlene’s “French Parasol Cover” which was featured on the front cover of a Japanese magazines 20th Anniversary edition. A deposit of $50 will hold a spot for you for both days. Seminar is $175 for both days, $100 for one day. To make it easier, we have split the balance into two payments. A non-refundable $75 payment due September 16th and the $50 balance due October 21st. Registration deadline is September 16th. Students to supply their own surface; for “Forget Me Knots” a 6” diameter and for “French Parasol Cover” a minimum 12” diameter. Seminar will be held at the Senior’s Centre on Kerr St. South of Spears in Oakville.
This is a Sherry Nelson design—taught with permission. The medium is oil and a great opportunity for those that would like to experience oil painting. Students can bring their own paint or Annette can provide the paints for a nominal palette fee of $5. Students supply their own surface; it should be 12 x 16 canvas, or surface of your choice. Seminar location is St. John's Church in Burlington, September 25th, from 9:30am to 4:30pm. A cheque for $40 payable to the Harbourside Painters of Canada is due upon registration. Payment is refundable up to 2 weeks prior to the class, after which time it is non-refundable. If the class is cancelled due to lack of enrolment, your cheque will be returned.
